This piece was inspired by the beautiful, bright green leaves of a tree in my backyard. In creating this painting, I wanted to pay homage to the small, yet wonderful, passing moments in nature all around us. In this case, I pointed out the way that the leaves on trees look in the summer sunlight when blown in the breeze.
The edges are painted and I used Dorland's Wax Medium to seal the painting.
